Privacy notice

Research access and information use

When you request access to a free publication, Brazil Observatory collects the information you provide, including your name, professional email, organization and country. This information is used to provide the requested publication, protect research distribution and understand professional interest in our work.

We also record the publication requested, referral source, access time and download events. Technical security information is minimized and used for fraud prevention and service integrity. We do not sell personal information.

If you separately join the research list, your consent and subscription status are recorded so Brazil Observatory can send public briefs, research notes and selected updates. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to editor@brazilobservatory.com.

Access and subscription records are retained only for as long as they remain relevant to research distribution, security and legitimate institutional communication. You may request access, correction or deletion of your information using the same address.

Requesting a publication does not create a paid subscription or authorize unrelated marketing communication.
